Martin de Porres "Diversity in Hiring Initiative"
Recently, a prominent black leader challenged our community by stating: “In regard to equality, stop telling us what you are not, and start telling us what you are. Refrain from stating that you are not part of the problem and make an impact on the solution.”
In the spirit of Saint Martin de Porres, the patron saint of diversity and racial harmony, The Oxenham Group is pleased to announce the Martin de Porres Diversity in Hiring Initiative.
At Oxenham Group, we believe that all professionals deserve the opportunity to interview for high paying jobs and furthermore, understand that diverse teams are integral for optimizing a healthy workplace culture.
Effective June 15th, The Oxenham Group will begin the initiative by donating $500 to the Thurgood Marshall College Fund in the name of Saint Martin de Porres. We will continue to donate $500 for every high-paying professional placement we make in which a racially diverse pool of applicants has been interviewed by our client. The client has the opportunity to have the donation made in its name.
A few notes on what we are going to do:
We are going to advise our clients to review a pool of racially diverse applicants.
We are going to challenge clients to increase inclusivity within their workforce.
We are going to make a $500 donation when the process provides increased exposure to a racially diverse pool of applicants.
This initiative is a full-time commitment to leverage our ample resources to make companies more successful by providing all professionals with visibility into jobs that pay over $75,000.
